Einladung - Invitation

Unser Team aus Singapur, Jeff und Minjie, haben gemeinsam mit Berliner Kameraden im Stadtteil Friedenau zum Kickoff-Café eingeladen. Ein Berliner Feuerwehrmann nahm genau so gerne die Sondernummer der Kriegsrufes an, wie die Besitzerin eines Kiosks, die sogar bereit war, einige Schriften in ihrem Kiosk auszulegen. Scouts der Stadt Berlin (Helfer, die extra vom Senat eingestellt wurden, um Touristen behilfslich zu sein) nahmen das Angebot der Heilsarmee auch in ihren Informationskatalog auf.

Our team from Singapore, Jeff and Minjie, have been busy inviting people in Berlin-Friedenau to the Kickoff café, together with comrades of the corps. Whether the recipient of the special edition of the War Cry was a Berlin fireman or the owner of a kiosk (who was even willing to display some War Crys in her kiosk) didn't matter: They all glady took it with them! Berlin scouts (helpers who have been engaged by the city to help tourists for the duration of the World Cup) also registered the Army's activities in their information brochures.
