Multikulti Fußballtraining - die USA gewinnen die WM! Multicultural Football Training - USA wins the World Cup!

Mehr als 20 Kinder aus insgesamt zehn Ländern haben gestern im Rahmen des Kinderprogramms ihre Fußballkünste erprobt. Eine Gruppe spielte mit Fußballtrainer Minjie aus Singapur gekonnt um bunte Hütchen herum Slalom, während sein Kollege Jeff mit einer anderen Gruppe die richtige Schusstechnik für zielgenaue Pässe und das optimale Stoppen eines ankommenden Balls einübte. Beim darauf folgenden Schusstraining konnten die Kinder ihr Geschick unter Beweis stellen, denn es ging darum, möglichst viele der aufgestellten Hütchen umzuschießen. Sie veranstalteten ihre eigene Fußball-Weltmeisterschaft, indem jeder ein anderes Land vertrat, völlig unabhängig von der eigenen Nationalität. Im Gegensatz zur echten WM, bei der die USA bereits in der Vorrunde ausgeschieden sind, entschied Levi als ihr Vertreter diesen speziellen Wettkampf für sich und damit für sie.
Zum Spannungsabbau gingen die WM-Teilnehmer anschließend zum Tischfußball über und spielten wieder eher mit- als gegeneinander. Hierbei beteiligten sich auch einige Kinder, die vorher die fußballfreie Zone des Kinderprogramms in Anspruch genommen hatten. Während die anderen begeistert mit den Bällen jongliert hatten, hatten sie sich schminken lassen – Motiv nach Wunsch, frei Hand, ohne Vorlage und mit erstaunlichen Ergebnissen…

More than 20 children from altogether 10 different countries tried out their football abilities yesterday during the football program especially devised for children. One group, together with Singapore trainer Minjie, tried the slalom around coloured hats, whilst his colleague Jeff practiced with another group and showed them techniques of how to make exact passes and stop balls going into the goal. When the time came to practice shooting the balls at the hats that had been put on the ground, the children were able to show what they had already learned. They held their own football world cup, with each child representing another country, regardless of their own nationality. In this world cup, Levi, representing the USA, managed to win the game for himself and thus winning the game for the USA- a slightly different outcome to the real games played by the USA team at the World Cup!
To get the excitement out of their system, the children played table football following the end of their match and played again with each other instead of against each other. Other children joined them who had been occupied doing other things in a football-free zone during the time of the football training: They had done face painting, with works of art accomplished without stencils or tracing, with some wonderful results ...
